Mindful Mocktails – 5 Festive Zero-Proof Recipes that Love your Gut Back
Tis the season! Burt you don’t need alcohol at every holiday party or event to feel festive. These mindful mocktails are packed with gut-supporting ingredients (think prebiotics, polyphenols, ginger, and fermented bases) so you can sip happily without the hangover, inflammation, or microbiome disruption! The best part? They taste like real craft cocktails and take less than 5 minutes t0 make! Let’s drink and be Merry (and healthy!)
1. Ginger-Turmeric Mule Mocktail
What it’s good for: Anti-inflammatory + digestion booster
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric (or ½-inch fresh)
- Juice of ½ lime
- 4–6 oz sparkling water
- 1–2 oz kombucha (ginger or original) or ginger beer
Muddle ginger and turmeric, add ice, lime, top with sparkling water and kombucha. Garnish with lime wheel.

2. Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer
Antioxidant bomb + prebiotic from pomegranate
- 2 oz 100% pomegranate juice
- 1 small sprig fresh rosemary
- ½ oz raw honey or maple syrup
- Sparkling water
- Optional: 1–2 oz kefir water or water kefir for probiotics
Muddle rosemary with sweetener, add pomegranate juice and ice, top with sparkling water.

3. Cucumber Mint Collagen Cooler
Hydrating + supports gut lining repair
- 4–5 cucumber slices
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- Juice of ½ lime
- 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides (dissolve in 1 oz warm water first)
- Sparkling water
Muddle cucumber and mint, add collagen mixture and lime, top with ice and sparkling water.

4. Spicy Pineapple Margarita Mindful Mocktail
Digestive enzymes from pineapple + capsaicin kick
- 3 oz fresh pineapple juice
- Juice of 1 lime
- Tiny pinch of cayenne or ½ oz jalapeño slice (muddled)
- 2–3 oz sparkling coconut water or plain
- Tajín or sea salt rim
Shake everything except sparkling water with ice, strain into Tajín-rimmed glass, top with bubbles.

5. Cranberry Orange Probiotic Fizz
Immune + gut double-fermented goodness
- 2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
- Juice of ½ orange
- 3–4 oz plain kefir or water kefir (plain or orange-flavored)
- Optional: 1 tsp raw honey
- Sparkling water to top
Shake juices and kefir with ice, strain into glass, top with sparkling water and orange slice.
